Claude Code has new instructions for summing up the status of a session that talks to people in a chat thread. If the agent is waiting on a named person, that person counts as the user, so the session is shown as blocked. The setting that selects these instructions falls back to on when the server sends nothing.

Status summaries for chat-thread sessions should show more clearly when a session is waiting on someone.
