What
A remote session is one that runs elsewhere and that you can watch from another screen. Claude Code now keeps track of whether a viewer has reported in, when the last viewer left, and whether the session has gone unwatched for longer than a grace period.
Why
This may later change what a session sends out once nobody is watching it, but only the tracking itself is in place.
