What
Remote sessions run somewhere else and talk to Claude Code over a live connection. That connection now keeps track of:
- why it was closed
- when it went down
- how many times it has tried to reconnect since it was last up
- which messages it has sent
It no longer tracks a used-up retry budget or a count of messages still being sent.
Why
This points to changed reconnect behaviour for remote and cloud sessions.
