What
The propose_skills tool checks whether a skill was read before Claude proposes changes to it. That check now records two more pieces of usage data:
- When the skill was last shown: never, this turn, or an earlier turn.
- How many lines a proposal drops that never appeared in the conversation, or -1 when that count cannot be worked out.
The check's pass or fail result is unchanged.
Why
This changes nothing you will see. The data is there to help tune how strictly the tool decides which existing skill lines must be kept.
