What

Plugins (add-on packages that extend Claude Code) can show small pop-up notices. These stack on the screen, and the stack has a limit. Claude Code now checks whether a plugin's notice was actually added. If the stack is full, it logs a message saying the notice was not stacked, and it no longer records the notice in its usage data as shown.

Why

Usage data about plugin notices now counts only the notices that really appeared on screen.
