What
Skills are packaged instructions Claude can use, and synced skills can bring hooks (commands that run at set points). Claude Code now removes those hooks and logs it when:
skills sync is turned off
the account changes
a skill goes away
Claude Code also now adds saved deny rules to the permissions in effect, and in some cases blocks reads outside the working folder. Old plugin folders are no longer cleaned up while something still refers to them.
