Unclear Whether the text printed in -p mode now looks different is not known.
What
In print mode (-p), where Claude Code answers once and prints the result instead of opening an interactive session, the final text used to be printed by a block that handled each kind of result separately, including the "Reached max turns" and "Exceeded USD budget" messages. That output now goes through shared steps that print at the end of each turn and at exit.
Separately, the part that reads input from a remote connection can now be told to drop certain kinds of incoming messages.
Why
This may change when partly written text appears in -p mode.
