What
The apps gateway can pass settings through to Claude Desktop. Its check of those settings now works differently:
- Keys it does not recognise are sent to Claude Desktop as written, with a warning that they may belong to a newer Desktop version.
- Keys that belong to
gateway.yaml itself but were indented into the desktop section are flagged, with a reminder to check the indentation.
- Unknown desktop keys get a suggested near match.
Before, unknown keys were rejected.
Why
Settings from a newer Claude Desktop no longer stop the gateway from serving.
