What
The feedback survey that sometimes asks how a session went can now be answered from the keyboard.
A new FeedbackSurvey keybinding context binds ctrl+x 1, ctrl+x 2 and ctrl+x 3 to bad, fine and good. A chord is a key combination followed by another key.
The actions feedbackSurvey:bad, feedbackSurvey:fine and feedbackSurvey:good are valid keybinding actions, so you can rebind them.
When the chords share a first key, the survey shows "to rate, press" that key "and then" the short key for each rating. Ratings with no chord bound are hidden.
The same change added several internal names for MCP reconnects, compaction after an over-long prompt, a cloud GitHub check and cloud container edits. These have no visible effect.
Why
You can rate a session without leaving the keyboard, and the hint text stays correct if you change the keys.
