A background task is work Claude Code carries on with while you are not watching it directly. When one of these tasks wants to use Claude in Chrome (the feature that lets Claude control your web browser), its prompt has been reworded. It now reads "Let Claude use your browser? Open this task on your computer." It used to read "Set up Claude in Chrome so this task can use your browser".
The prompt also shows a card titled "Set up Claude in Chrome on your computer". The card's description says that any answer given there skips the setup.
The old wording suggested you could set up browser access from wherever you were seeing the prompt. You can't. The new text says the setup has to be done on your computer, and that answering the prompt from somewhere else moves past it.
