Unclear It is not clear whether the remote flag controls all of this or only the timed rechecks.
When Claude is told that the computer it works on (the host) is away, Claude Code now checks on it again after 30 seconds, 2 minutes and 5 minutes, and stops checking once it is back.
A host that reports it is asleep is now treated as asleep rather than just unreachable. In that case Claude is told that opening the computer is all the user needs to do to bring it back. The message for an unreachable host also has a new closing line, replacing the old instruction to check only when the user says it is back.
This is tied to a flag that is off unless it is switched on remotely. The flag server has returned on for this site's account and for an anonymous one, though not yet read under this release.
This changes how Claude responds when a remote computer has gone to sleep or gone offline.
tengu_violin_winding Off by default, switched on for this accountThe shipped code defaults this off, and the flag server returned on for the one account this site reads on this version. That is the reading that makes the entry above worth a second look, and it still says nothing about your account.
This account: on · anonymous baseline: on · compiled default in v2.1.295: off
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
Read once, for one account on one subscription tier, against v2.1.295. It isn't a statement about your account. What a flag value here can and cannot tell you
