Unclear What the condition checks and how the text is reworked are not known.

What

In auto mode, a classifier (a check that sorts a tool call as safe or not) decides whether Claude can go ahead with a tool call, an action such as running a command or editing a file. When a tool's input is plain text and a certain condition holds, that text now passes through an extra step before the classifier sees it. Before, the classifier always got the text as it was.

Why

This changes what the auto mode classifier looks at, which may affect which tool calls it lets through.
