What
Claude Code blocks publishing an artifact when the live version changed since Claude last saw it. It now compares what Claude sent with the live page:
If the two are identical, it marks the live version as seen, so the next publish goes through.
If they differ, it shows a line-by-line difference, with counts of changed sections and of lines that exist only on the live page or only in Claude's version.
If the difference is too large, it falls back to the old behaviour: saving the live page to a file and asking for a full re-read.
Why
Claude has much less to read when merging someone else's changes after a publish conflict, and an identical page no longer causes a needless block.
