When Claude Code starts, it records how long each stage of startup takes. The system prompt is the set of standing instructions Claude receives before your first message. For the stage that builds it, Claude Code no longer records the extra breakdown, such as which part was slowest and how much processor time it used.
Why
This trims the timing data Claude Code collects about its own startup.
