The sandbox (the restricted environment Claude Code can run commands in) gains a new way to put a newly created file in its final location. It first tries a move that refuses to overwrite a file that already exists, and if that is not possible it falls back to creating a link to the file instead.

The sandbox can also now report which account and organization it was built for.

Why

This looks like a safeguard that keeps new files from silently replacing existing ones.
