What
A plugin marketplace is a source Claude Code installs add-on plugins from. For each marketplace, Claude Code lists the network address it needs to reach, its egress requirement, meaning where outbound traffic goes. That address now comes from a different lookup than before. GitHub sources still list github.com.
Why
The host or port listed for a marketplace may now be more precise, which matters if your network only allows listed addresses.
