Two additions to the policy settings administrators use for desktop and enterprise deployments:
- Plugin marketplaces policy: gains a rule describing when a change is applied while the app is running.
managedMcpServers: each server entry can now override its own tool policy.
Neither is used by the command-line version of Claude Code.
Why
These matter to administrators managing desktop deployments. They do not affect Claude Code in a terminal.
