Internal ChangesSection of the release
What
When Claude Code filters its list of tool entries, it keeps counts of how many it dropped and why. Two counts have been added for entries dropped because they carry credentials (stored login details or secrets):
one for credential entries dropped in general
one for credential entries dropped because of restrictions, which is always 0 when the filter is in "allow" mode
The total number of dropped entries now includes the credential count. Before, the total covered only the other drop reasons.
Why
In practice, any total of dropped tool entries can now include ones removed for carrying credentials, so it may be higher than before for the same setup.
