What
When Claude Code prepares a pack of your configuration to seed a cloud environment, it now drops any file whose text looks like a credential, such as a password, key or token. When it filters your settings, it also counts any rules it drops for looking like a credential. The pack's counts gain separate totals for these left-out credential files and rules.
Why
Passwords and keys sitting in your configuration are kept out of what gets copied to the cloud environment.
