Unclear Which other condition counts as acceptance, and whether the agreement prompt is now skipped more often, is not clear.

What

Bypass permissions mode lets Claude use tools without asking you each time, and Claude Code asks you to agree to it before turning it on. The check for whether you have already agreed now passes if either of these is true:

  • the bypassPermissionsModeAccepted setting is set
  • a separate internal condition is met
Why

This could mean the agreement prompt for bypass permissions mode is skipped in more situations than before.
