Unclear Which key the new left-movement action is bound to is not known.
What
Claude Code's Vim mode lets you edit your prompt with Vim keys. In normal mode, where letters move the cursor instead of typing:
hno longer moves left past the start of a line.lno longer moves right past the end of a line.
A line here means text ended by a line break, not a line that only looks separate because it wraps on screen. Previously both keys could carry the cursor onto the neighbouring line. Another key now also moves the cursor left.
Why
This matches how Vim itself behaves, so the cursor stays on the line you are editing.
