What

In vim mode (the option to edit your prompt with vim-style keys), f and t jump to a character on the line, and ; and , repeat that search. Claude Code now remembers the last search before moving the cursor, and only moves the cursor when the character is found. Before, the code that saved the search and moved the cursor referred to the wrong values.

Why

; and , now repeat your last f or t search, even when that search did not find the character.
