What
Claude Code has a check that works out which folders, including ones reached through shortcuts (symlinks) or network paths, count as covered. That check now sorts folders into three groups:
Walked folders, which it has looked through. These now get a second pass.
Unwalked folders, which it has not looked through.
Vouched folders, which are accepted as covered without being looked through.
The check also has a limit on how much it examines. That limit now counts files in batches instead of counting one unit for every entry.
Why
This changes which file paths count as covered when Claude Code checks whether a path falls inside an allowed area, such as a sandbox (a restricted space Claude Code runs commands in).
