What
A new feature name, mcp_file_input_upload, has been added to a list of MCP features. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the way Claude Code connects to outside tools and services. The list already includes features such as getting prompts from MCP servers. Nothing else in this release refers to the new name.
Why
The name suggests MCP tools may later accept files from your machine as input, with Claude Code uploading them for the tool.
