What

Claude Code includes the label "Large workflow · /workflows to stop". /workflows opens the workflow progress view.

Separately, the internal step that raises the stored task number now reports whether it did anything: it says no when the stored number is already at or above the requested one, and yes after raising it. Before, it reported nothing.

Why

The label points to a hint for large workflows that tells you where to stop them. The second change alters a return value other parts of Claude Code may act on.

The entry above is what we published on the day. These lines were added later, as Anthropic's own pages caught up, and they sit beside the original rather than replacing it.

Confirmed since Anthropic's documentation has since written up /workflows, on Orchestrate subagents at scale with dynamic workflows. * `/workflows`, the workflow commands, and the `/workflow-authoring` skill are unavailable workflows see the edit
