What
A subagent is a helper agent that Claude starts to handle part of a task. When Claude Code builds a subagent's instructions, it now passes the agent's notes through an extra wrapping step.
Separately, when Claude Code searches your PATH (the list of folders your system looks in for commands) for the agent-proxy command, it now reports a failed search as its own reason. Before, only a timeout had its own reason.
