Unclear What the remote switch defaults to when the server sends nothing is not known.
What
Claude Code can now add a note telling Claude that each fresh agent it launches has a budget of a set number of tokens, counting the context the agent starts with. Tokens are the units the model reads and writes text in.
The note is only added when a remote switch or CLAUDE_CODE_STREAMED_BUMBLEBEE is true. Its wording varies by mode (none, forks or all), and can be replaced remotely or with CLAUDE_CODE_STREAMED_BUMBLEBEE_TEXT.
Why
It changes the guidance Claude sees about how much room its helper agents have.
