What

A subagent is a separate helper agent that Claude Code starts to work on part of a task. Each one has a short description used as its label. That description can now be worked out from the name the subagent is given when it starts. Before, it was always fixed text.

Why

This lets subagents started from the same request carry labels that differ by name.
