Unclear What decides whether a stopped turn is ended this way is not clear.

What

A turn is one round of Claude working on your request. When you interrupt a turn that is paused waiting for a permission answer, Claude Code now starts winding that turn down. If the turn is still waiting on agents to finish, the wind-down is put off until they do. Before, it happened immediately.

Why

This mainly matters for sessions run without the interactive screen or run remotely, where an interrupt can arrive while a permission request is pending.
