What
When Claude Code gathers files to upload a repository, it now checks again after reading each file that it is the same file and not a link to another one. It also reads git attribute files from parent folders, handles folders that moved while it was working, and reports how many bytes a file claimed when it refuses one as too large.
Why
This is security hardening. It makes it harder for a file to be swapped for a different one partway through an upload.
