The footer under the prompt box shows which mode Claude Code is in, next to a hint line. That mode indicator is now always a single piece placed before the hint. When a certain condition holds, a second piece is drawn after the hint. Before, Claude Code picked one of two versions of the indicator and drew it before the hint.
