A plugin marketplace is a source Claude Code installs plugins from. Several things changed:
- Refreshing all marketplaces at once now skips any marketplace whose saved name fails the look-alike check, including marketplaces added through settings.
- A failed git download is now reported as either git not being found or the fetch failing.
- When a plugin is installed from another marketplace as a fallback, you are told the original copy could not be downloaded.
- A missing integrity hash and an empty one now give different errors. An integrity hash is a fingerprint used to check a download has not been altered.
Installing plugins is stricter about suspicious marketplace names, and failures say more clearly what went wrong.
tengu_plugin_official_mkt_git_fallback On for this account, and not off by defaultThe flag server returned on for the one account this site reads, and nothing in this release compiles it off by default. The compiled default is shown below, and says which it is when we cannot read one: a fifth of gates compile in a string or a number rather than on or off, and most published releases have no gate table behind them at all. No client can see what the server returns for your account.
