What

Claude Code sends usage data, called telemetry, back to Anthropic. One report it sends about the outcome of an action now includes a path_over_limit field set to true when a path was flagged as over a limit. The field was not there before.

Why

This lets Anthropic count cases where a path, such as a file location, is too long. It does not change what you see.
