What

When Claude tries to work with a file that does not exist, Claude Code reports a "File does not exist" error. That error now uses the version of the message that includes a "Did you mean" suggestion pointing at a similarly named file.

Why

The suggestion is likely to reach you and Claude now, which makes it easier to spot a mistyped file name and correct it.
