Unclear What set aside means for a server, and whether the PDF message can appear more often than before, is not clear.

What

MCP servers are outside programs that give Claude Code extra tools. A few related changes:

  • A server that is not connecting and has entries set aside now shows the status set_aside instead of another status.
  • Errors for a server that does not respond now also record whether it was suspended.
  • When a PDF "cannot be shown whole in this session", Claude is told to read it again a few pages at a time.
