Unclear What the reworked worktree step does differently is not known.
What
Several small internal changes to how Claude Code deals with git:
- A failed git file listing now logs only that it exited and its exit code, not the error text. That text could include file paths.
- In one cloud git path, the step that registers a worktree is rebuilt. A worktree is an extra checkout of the same repository. The step that removes it now reports whether it finished.
- An error about binding to a cloud session now shows a short location code instead of a full sentence.
Why
These are robustness changes with nothing new on screen. The shorter log keeps error text out of the logs.
