What
A handoff passes calls on to be run elsewhere. Claude Code now rejects a handoff when the session service has held it for longer than a set limit. The error says the request has been held for over a number of minutes and that its calls were not run.
Why
Calls that sat in a queue for too long are no longer run late, after the moment for them has passed.
