What
When you exit, Claude Code prints a line telling you how to pick the session back up. In a cloud session, one that runs on Anthropic's servers rather than your computer, that hint now reads claude --cloud followed by the session ID. Before, it always showed the local claude --resume command.
Why
The local resume command does not continue a cloud session, so cloud users now get a command that works.
The entry above is what we published on the day. These lines were added later, as Anthropic's own pages caught up, and they sit beside the original rather than replacing it.
Confirmed sinceAnthropic's documentation has since written up --resume, on Claude Code changelog.* Fixed plan mode not being restored when resuming a session from the `claude --resume` session picker or with `/resume`changelogsee the edit
