The Background dialog lists work running out of sight. It can now show a new detail screen for local agents (helper agents running on your computer) and a compact list that adjusts to your window's width, with shorter key hints and a colour for permission requests. These only appear when certain optional parts of Claude Code are present. The dialog can also now open straight to the list in some cases.
Before, local agents had one fixed view, and the list took at least seven rows or half the window.
