What

A toast is a short pop-up notification a plugin can show. The description of the toast message, which apps showing Claude Code's interface read, used to say the plugin host spaces a plugin's toasts 2 seconds apart. It now tells apps to be ready for a plugin's toasts at no fixed rate.

Why

Apps that show plugin toasts should not count on them arriving 2 seconds apart.
