What
Plugins can include links in the interface pieces they draw. Claude Code now shows a plugin link as plain text, with no link made of it, and reports a diagnostic message in these cases:
- The link's address (its
href) is invalid or too long - The link is on a display surface that does not support links
The length limit on the address is now measured on its escaped form, the way it is written out, rather than on the raw text.
Why
A single bad link now degrades on its own instead of causing trouble for the rest of what the plugin draws.
