Claude Code can now check whether the folder a plugin comes from was changed after Claude Code last read it. A plugin is an add-on that extends Claude Code. The check walks through the folder's files with limits on how much it looks at and how long it takes. When it finds a change it shows a notice saying the plugin was "re-read from its folder".
