Plugins can supply short lines of text for Claude Code to show, including a pinned line. The description of these lines used to say at most 4096 characters. It now says to be ready for up to 10000 characters and then an ellipsis (the "..." that marks cut-off text).
Why
Text lines from plugins can be longer than before, and anything that draws them should expect long text shown cut off with an ellipsis.
