When you start Claude Code with a message typed on the command line and that message fails to send to a cloud session, Claude Code now puts its text back into the input box. Previously you saw the error, but the text was lost.
The error, which begins "Couldn't send your first message (the one given on the command line)", still explains why the message failed. Only the way the reason is attached to the message has changed.
Why
You can edit or resend your first message after a failure instead of typing it again.
