What
The idle tool lets Claude wait for something to happen. Its description now says that a "(no pending events)" result means only that this call delivered nothing. Scheduled prompts or held messages may still be waiting until the turn ends. It also now says that new input from you "usually" ends the wait, not always.
Why
Claude is less likely to assume nothing is queued just because one wait came back empty.
