When Claude Code builds a list of changed files, it can leave out files that were deleted. It used to do this in one case only. It now also leaves them out when an additional check says so.

Separately, when working in a Git worktree, which is a second working copy of the same repository, Claude Code now reads Git's HEAD file, the file that records which commit or branch is checked out.

Why

This may change how deleted or renamed files are reported in lists of changes.
