What
A session is one running conversation with Claude Code. When Claude sends a message from one session to another, a short note is added that tells Claude what happened to it. That note now says the message is "in that session's inbox, not yet read by its Claude".
The old note said the message was "queued there" and that the other session's user had to approve it first. The new note says the other session's permission mode is "usually" different.
Why
Claude reads this note, so it changes how Claude tells you whether a message to another session has arrived and been read.
