What
When you submit a slash command (a command typed with a leading /), Claude Code now records whether it was sent from the composer, the box where you type your prompts.
A prompt can also be expanded: Claude Code adds extra text to it and keeps the expanded version alongside what you typed.
Why
This changes how a prompt is processed between you pressing Enter and it reaching Claude, so what Claude receives can now include more than the text you typed.
