What
The command that purges Claude Code's saved state for a project is now a top-level command: claude purge [path]. It used to sit under claude project, as claude project purge.
The old name still works for now, but it is hidden from help and prints a notice that it is deprecated (due to be removed). Claude Code also records when the old name is used.
Why
If you or a script runs claude project purge, switch to claude purge before the old name goes away.
