What
While a tool runs, it can send progress updates. One kind is a heartbeat, a regular signal that the tool is still working. Before this change, every progress update woke only the single part of Claude Code that was waiting for it. A heartbeat update now wakes everything that is waiting. Other progress updates still wake only the single waiter.
Why
This changes how progress from long-running tools reaches the rest of Claude Code.
